How do I join Excelinc?
By auditioning at one of our Eureka Pitch Days! If you can’t make the dates for any reason, but want to join Excelinc, shoot us an email, we still want to hear from you and may be able to arrange something to suit you.
What industries do you accept startups in?
Any! We take on startups from any industry onto our program.
How do I get funding for my startup?
Once enrolled you go through the seed funding application process. If you are unsuccessful accessing the seed funding don’t worry, you will still be given the chance to pitch to other angel investors for funding at one of our demo days.
Where is Excelinc?
Excelinc has two campuses, one in Melbourne and one in Sydney.
What if I want to join but don’t have an idea for a startup?
That’s fine! We evaluate your skill set and match you up with an idea in need of what you have to offer.
What if I have a startup idea but don’t have anyone to work on it with?
That’s what we’re here for, to match you up with a dynamic team of people to help turn your idea into a business.
Do I need any experience or qualifications in business to join Excelinc?
No! You need no experience whatsoever, that’s what we’re here to provide.
Can I bring my friends to be part of my team?
Yes! We love it when you do. As you already have a bond with them we trust you’ll work well together on your business.
Do I have to enrol in an educational course to join Excelinc?
Yes! One of the only rules at Excelinc states you must be able to be assessed in a nationally recognised course to be admitted onto the program.
Why didn’t you accept my application onto Excelinc?
Unfortunately places are limited and we can only pick the most suitable ideas and people, we do invite you to try again on our next enrolment.
